Bailey's earned his miles as a tireless traveller, enthusiastic band member, traditionalist and innovator with such bands as Sarah Savoy’s Hellraising Hayride, the Freight Hoppers, The Forge Mountain Diggers, the Hogwaller Ramblers, Faster than Walking.  His current & long-running project as bandleader for The Remedies; the NYC Barndance house band annually featured at NYC’s Bryant Park Square Dance.
 He’s carried his music to audiences across America, Scandinavia, the U.K., Europe and Australia.

A multi-instrumentalist since the age of 14, he's equally comfortable on fiddle, guitar & contrabass. 
 His most recent collaboration, "Wild Hog", a post modern string-band trio, with Aaron Jonah Lewis (Corn Potato String Band, Thomas Dolby, The Joe Morley Project, The Hot Seats, Norah Jane Struthers & the Party Line), featuring Max Johnson (MJ Trio, Anthony Braxton, John Zorn, Ryan Cavanaugh) available on Bandcamp & iTunes.
